Desdemona's Thoughts...

Hello, I am Desdemona also know as the first witch. After giving Macbeth and his friend Banquo the “Prophecy”, I decided to try out some new spells on my pet cat (not mentioned in play). I tried very hard to try to make my cat into a dog but nothing was working. So I tried different spells but nothing worked. Suddenly Macbeth came into me and my sister’s place and asked us for more info so we summoned these apparitions to fool with his mind, and he believed them all. After he left I went on with my studies. I found this one spell that might work so I used it. The spell needed a dog’s tongue and some other stuff so I was like sure I’ll find it. I had to find ingredients from fish fillet to eye of newt so I was like where do I find all this stuff? I looked around the darkest places of Scotland to find this stuff. I did find some stuff on the way like the tongue from this piece of road kill I found but I am not going in depth about it. When I had all the ingredients I muttered the words “Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble”, and it worked! I was so happy so I told my sisters that we now had a dog. When I told them, they had an opposite reaction then I expected. They were screeching and croaking because they said that cat was meant for another spell. So I was the one that had to change the dog back into a cat, here we go again.

Sincerely,
Desdemona

Samara's Philosophy...

That darn Macbeth! We tried to help him out the first time and what does he do, betray us. “All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, thane of Cawdor! All hail, Macbeth! That shalt be king hereafter!” is what we tell him, yet no thanks we receive. Hecate tells us of his evil doings, explains to us the plans that boil within him. But we will no longer deal with no thanks, we shall show him who we are. My sisters and I are not ones to be meddled with. We will twist his wicked mind with riddles, that cause him to be involved in affairs with death. Macduff is a cunning man, one that holds the title thane of Fife. One who was ripped from his mother’s womb post mortem, and one who will carry the trees. With these words we shall trick Macbeth. With twisted tales he will regret his decisions as they will bring death upon him. We will summon those of the dark world, and thrust them upon Macbeth. An armed head, one of his own, a bloody child, that of Macduff, and a child crowned, the son of Duncan. When we are done, Macbeth will lose everything he has worked so hard for. The crown in which he killed for will no longer be his, and he will rot with worms. My sisters and I will never fail to remember his devious deeds.
Genuinely,
Samara

Gwendolyn's Thoughts...

Today I met up with the girls and we were planning when we should meet again, we decided when the commotion was done. My sisters and I gave Macbeth three prophecies, that he will be Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor, and King. All he has left to complete is to become King. He thinks to himself oh no I can’t do it, there are to many heirs to the throne. Then Lady Macbeth comes along and convinces him to kill Malcolm, Donalbain and Duncan. But they can’t just kill them, someone will eventually figure out it was Macbeth. This should be interesting… And Banquo, if you read this, I did not appreciate being compared to a bubble.

Love your Girl Gwendolyn ♥

Hecate's Senses...

Good lord, those crazy three witches... I swear, all I do is tell those three witches what to do and when to do it! I’m tired of always having to do all the work. Just the other day they went walking around, and they encountered a man named Macbeth. Oddly enough they apparently saw his prophecy and told him. When they told me this I was completely stunned! As I said before I’m usually the one doing everything! Anyways after I heard all this I decided to do some soul hunting and find out more about this Macbeth...
This fellow Macbeth is evil to the bone – and that’s coming from a witch, a head witch. He kills King Duncan, murders his friend, all for what, what good could possibly come of this? But as you could probably guess, an evil man, given a prophecy like his, wanted more from us witches.So... I kind of planned a little bit of a surprise for the guy, figured he wanted some answers, needed to eventually be scammed out of being king. Now for the best part... From what I heard, Macbeth died at the hands of Macduff, the one man known to Macbeth that was not in fact technically born of woman, his mother had him in a C-section. Hahahahaha Macbeth! But considering all that fun has passed, I guess I’m back to telling those 3 witches what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and well everything else possible.
Sincerely,
Hecate.
